I first met Jon in a coffee shop. It was finals week and everyone was incredibly stressed out, him included.
Not even knowing me at all, he took his time to sit down with me and talk for 2 hours to get to know me. I’ve never known a more incredible person who was able to immediately get into a real and meaningful conversation. He took his precious study time to get to know me, a complete stranger.
This speaks volumes towards his soul and mindset – always being completely selfless and setting aside his own priorities to get to know others and invest in those meaningful conversations.
Getting to know Jon more over the next year following that day was one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever had the chance to do. Having a joyous spirit that radiates to everyone around him was and is one of the most enduring qualities he had as a friend, brother, Christ follower and incredible human being.
My deepest thoughts, prayers, and love goes to you, Jon’s family. He was an incredible super human that was loved by everyone who met him.
